Studying journalism in Australia at UTS will give you access to work experience and internships with media organizations because of our strong links with industry.

UTS journalism students have completed internships at The Australian newspaper, news.com, the Sydney Morning Herald, the Sun Herald, many suburban newspapers, SBS radio, the ABC and commercial radio and TV stations.

Journalism staff have built a database which keeps an ongoing record of students' interests and internship needs. Every week, every journalism students receive emails about job and internship opportunities through UTS On Line. Students also learn from each others' experiences through short reports which are published on our UTS Journalism students discussion board.
